Indicazione Geografica Tipica
Balconara is one of the most suitable areas of the Vulture for the production of great red wines. This wine is obtained from 50% of Aglianico grapes from the vineyards, which are owned by this site, and 50% of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
Tecnica di produzione
Since the two varieties have different ripening periods, they are harvested and vinified separately. Once the alcoholic fermentation is complete, both wines are stored before being sent for refinement in 50 Hl barrels where they remain for at least 15 months.
